FAQs on the hiring process

What are the most important things to include in my resume?
 Some essential things to include in your resume are your name, contact information, education history, work or internship experience, and relevant skills. All of these details should be tailored for each individual job application. Additionally, you can include professional organizations and special awards if you think they are relevant.
How do I know if you have received my application? If you have applied for a job at G42 via our Job Search section, you will receive an automated e-mail response confirming receipt of your application. Note that our goal is to keep valued candidates like you informed of your status throughout the recruitment process. However, due to the large volume of applications we receive, we are unable to personally respond to each one every time. If you meet the job profile requirements, you will be contacted directly by a recruiter for an interview.
I have applied for a job but haven’t heard back. Why? If you have applied for a role, our Talent Acquisition team will review your application against the job description and contact you if found suitable. If you do not hear back from us within 7 days of application, it automatically means that unfortunately you were not shortlisted. But we will be saving your profile for future relevant opportunities.
What's the best way to contact a Recruiter at G42?
   To make sure your application gets to the right person, it must be linked to a specific vacancy via our job search section. Therefore, it's best to first apply to a specific role with your preferred social media profile (i.e. LinkedIn) or by submitting your CV/resume. A recruiter will then contact you if your profile is assessed as a potential fit for the role.
What does the typical recruitment process look like?  The interview process will start with a recruiter screening, which often take place on the phone, followed by in-person or video call interviews. In addition to a hiring manager, you may meet with other business stakeholders or may be asked to go through a technical assessment. When you have made it through the interview process, the last step will be a job offer subject to final approvals.
